Her understanding of the conscious and unconscious mind of writers and artists was as complete as a World Class NLP Practitioner in both her exercises and her use of metaphor.
But it is possible to make either typing or writing by hand second nature, so that muscular strain will not slow you down or keep you from writing.

By encouraging the use of writerr writing, regular exercise, and heavy doses of reading as the means of unlocking creative power, Ms Brande probably saved many new authors from seeking inspiration in a bottle of bathtub gin. Bursts of work are not what you are out to establish as your habit, but a good, steady, satisfying flow, rising occasionally to an extraordinary level of beande, but seldom falling below what you have discovered is your own normal output.
My everyday concerns and pleasures are like antagonistic cheerleaders distracting my writing mind. I think meditation is an under-appreciated habit that really does strengthen your concentration, patience, and capacity for productive reflection.
